Residential Architecture: House – Budapest XVI by ZSK Architects: “..The architects were expected to design a very light, up to date house. Orientation (sun and shadow circumstances) leads logically to forming and opening diagonally the plan to the street. Volumetric form follows the inner function as well. This simple design wants to show a monolitic volume opened with the entrance, terrace and slight glass strips only..The chosen concrete material justify and intensify the treatment of mass. Main structure is thermal insulated reinforced concrete and gas-concrete blocks. Walls and roof are covered by prefabricated concrete panels..” Interesting form, fenestration and interior volumes..
