Residential Architecture: CC House by Longhi Architects: “..Two volumes crown the top of a hill..One cube built with exposed concrete comes from the earth while the second one, located 2.40m away is made from glass and appears to be “floating” on the site..The space in between the blocks is occupied by a staircase designed as a series of sculptural elements that connect the hard appearance of concrete to the soft look of glass provoking a light and shadow effects as the sun visits the house during different hours of the day..”  On first impression a simple pair of connected materially contrasting boxes, rear facade shows a complex volumetric diversity; abundant glazing, natural and filtered light, views, interesting materiality, especially present in the interior, along with interesting interior volumes..
