Architecture: Bibliothek Luckenwalde by FF Architekten and Martina Wronna: “..Berlin architects Ralf Fleckenstein and Katharina Feldhusen of FF Architekten in collaboration with Martina Wronna have completed a new public library in Luckenwalde, Germany..The project involved the conversion of a former railway station into a public library and includes an extension to the existing building that houses the children’s library..The inclined walls of this annex are clad in shingles made of a copper-aluminium alloy..” Striking form and metal cladding; interesting fenestration and interior volumes..

Architecture: Berlin Museum of Architectural Graphics by NPS Tchoban Voss: “..compose it from five blocks that are placed in a somewhat staggered order. And these blocks are by no means parallelepiped, either: one of them sports the corners that are perceivable “pulled to the sides”, while the layouts of the others look like a Cyrillic «?»..The top block, according to the architects’ plan, will be faced with mirror glass, which will visually conceal the height of the museum building and will hide its excessive elongation, while the facades of the four lower blocks will be finished with decoratively wrought concrete panels of light-sand color. Some of these panels while still being molded will be covered with vertical grooves, very much like “flutes” that have migrated over to the concrete surface from the pieces of architectural graphics..” Distinctive staggered form, textural surface, mirrored glass top element..

Residential Architecture: JOH 3 Apartments Berlin by Jurgen Mayer H. Architects: “..reinterprets the classic berliner wohnhaus with its multi-unit structure and green interior courtyard. a suspended lamella facade not only provides privacy but also draws historical reference to the elaborately decorated facades from the wilhelminian period. plans for the ground floor facing the street also include a number of commercial spaces. the generously sized apartments will face south-west, opening themselves to a view of the calm, carefully designed courtyard garden. spacious, breezy transitions to the outside create an open residential experience in the middle of the city that, thanks to the variable heights of the different building levels, also offers an interesting succession of rooms..” Interesting facade with lamella detailing repeated elsewhere, interior courtyard, views, terraces..
